rene oliver Posted 12 October , 2009 Share Posted 12 October , 2009 Hello, I am wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. My family always said that a great uncle was awarded a VC during WW1. - very doubtful. He was a Belgian - Louis Pendville of Antwerp. I do not know if he served in the Army or Navy. He came to London to receive the medal. Is there a list of Belgian Servicemen who received medals during WW1. Any help - any pointers greatfully received. Rene Oliver.
