paul_a_johnston Posted 2 October , 2009 Share Posted 2 October , 2009 Bit of a long shot, looked on CWGC; but is anyone aware of Cemeteries in Central Asia containing British or Allies military personel from the intervention there during and following the Great War. I know of the existance one in the Caucasus but considering involvment further east would expect there have to been ones there. Terry Denham Posted 2 October , 2009 Share Posted 2 October , 2009 Paul Check the cemetery listings by country on the IFCP website (www.infromthecold.org). All cemeteries/memorials are listed there with the casualty numbers. Those you will be looking for are under Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Iran, Turkey, Russia. Many of the graves in that area are now lost or unmaintainable and the names added to memorials to the missing.
