Steve,

this could well be Shrewsbury Hospital which was indeed on Norfolk Road. I'll see what I can find out, my sister is only a mile or so up the road,

The reverse of the photo also has Barlborough (North Derbys) so it could be that he was using it as a note pad!!

The chap was from Chesterfield and this would have been his second time out with wounds. Firstly on Gallipoli and then Poelcapelle.
