Is anyone able to supply specific detail on an apparent mid air collision on 12 June 1917 involving the following 45th Squadron RFC pilots...

Watt & Pocock in aircraft Sopwith 1. 1/2 Strutter serial A8244 & Mountford & Vessey in aircraft serial A8299;

VESSEY 2nd Lieutenant John Arthur, 45 Squadron Royal Flying Corps

Died: 12 June 1917, Hazebrouck Communal Cemetery, Nord, France.

MOUNTFORD, Captain GORDON, 45 Squadron Royal Flying Corps

Death: 12 June 1917, Age: 23 Hazebrouck Communal Cemetery, Nord, France. Grave/Memorial Reference: I. G. 9.
