Ravrick Posted 17 August , 2009 Share Posted 17 August , 2009 Hi, I am trying to research 2/Lt HE Crook RAF, who died on 9th November 1918 at the 50th TDS. Can anybody tell me his cause of death and if any reports exsist? He was only 18 years old so he may have been a cadet officer although his rank is 2/Lt. Any help or guidance appreicated, Thanks, Rick
Dolphin Posted 17 August , 2009 Share Posted 17 August , 2009 Ravrick 2Lt Henry Edward Crook of No 50 TDS at Eastbourne was killed in an accident while flying Sopwith Camel F2027 on 9 November 1918. The aeroplane's wings collapsed when he pulled out too suddenly after diving on a ground target. I hope that this helps you. Gareth
