Captain Leach, Merchant Navy

Hello all. The attached photo is, according to the reverse, "Capt. Leach." I can identify his War and Victory Medals, but what are the other two? And what was the medal on his right breast awarded for?

Any help would be gratefully accepted.

Thank you,

Pat

Not War and Victory, but War and Mercantile Marine. I believe the last is the Royal Naval Reserve Decoration. http://www.royal-naval-reserve.co.uk/medals/rd.htm

The one on theright breast is probably a medal for lifesaving.

Many thanks. And I realized I'd made a mistake on the Victory/MM medal as soon as I posted the message.

I also suspect it's a lifesaving medal of some kind, I just don't have a reference that shows them.

I appreciate your help.

Regards,

Pat
