oseven85 Posted 5 August , 2009 Share Posted 5 August , 2009 I have been lucky enough to get my Grandfathers "Soldiers Record" dowloaded from Ancestry.co which amounted to 37 pages. It shows that he served with both the 6th battalion KRRC (1907 India) and then the 12th battalion KRRC (1914-16 France ). However it does not show where in France he served. He was moved to Calais in 1917 to work on the ralway. Is there any way I can get more detail please? He was one of the lucky ones that survived. oseven85 Posted 6 August , 2009 Author Share Posted 6 August , 2009 In addition to my query above, this photo shows my Grandfather seated centre. Can anyone identify the uniforms and possible location? I have names for the others in the photo if you think they may be relatives of yours.
