RNAS Crash-?type of plane

Ignore the photo file on the previous 2 topics- I have nowe resized so it can be seen by all!

Original questions were- is this an RNAS plane or a later Fleet Air Arm one?

First guess - a Fairy IIIA? It appears to be fitted with the early arrestor wire catcher on the undercart (when the wires ran along the deck rather than across but were not very effective which might account for the predicament the aircraft is in) . The markings look post WW1. The IIIA was designed for aircraft carrier use and entered service towards the end of 1918.
