Hello Geoff.

On the 4th. Nov they were at Jolimetz on the Sambre, after proceeding through the "Foret de Mormal " they pushed on to Pont-sur-sambre. Later than night the river was crossed & the battalion was relieved by the 95th. brigade. The 1st. Cheshires billetted Pont-sur-sambre, casualties 1 officer & 4 men kia, one officer & 39 men wounded.

Hope it helps Geoff, not a great deal on this action.

Regards,.

Colin.
