We had a real Passchendaele 1917 situation, it was terrible to dig in that weather... We all thought on, the poor blokes who had to live in there for 4 years or even some months is more than enough.... We will never know how it was, but , we can imagine it was terrible... I am hoping to go on the afternoon of 24th October with 60 pupils and 7 members of staff. (But willing to break them up into smaller groups!)
