I'm taking my 13yr old son to Ypres in June.I have a good idea of where we want to visit . To keep costs down I would be looking to camp ,somewhere close to Ypres preferably.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

regards

Steve

From the Ypres official website (www.ieper.be):

From 1993 on Ieper has its own camp site with a capacity of 21 camp spots. One can stay there in tents as well. You find the camp site behind the sports- and recreation grounds, and it is accessible via the K. Steverlyncklaan.

Facilities : electricity, flush toilets, showers and water. The duration of your stay is limited to 1 week.

A couple of hikers' huts up to 4 persons per hut are available too. The stay is limited to 3 nights.

Reservation and announcement : Jeugdstadion, Leopold III-laan 16, Ieper. Tel. +32 57 21 72 80 - fax +32 57 21 61 21 – info@jeugdstadion.be

Hope this helps.
