Jesse Posted 16 July , 2009 Author Share Posted 16 July , 2009 Hi John, number was 242025, although the medal card seems to indicate that he had prior numbers of 6286, and S/3203. Thanks for your help. Service number? John
Jesse Posted 16 July , 2009 Author Share Posted 16 July , 2009 Also, from a 1917 diary notation, showing Ross as a L/Cpl with the 1/5 Seaforths, B Coy, 7 Platoon.
Jesse Posted 29 July , 2009 Author Share Posted 29 July , 2009 Ross's brother, name unkown to me, was killed likely sometime in early November 1917, as he received notification of this on 27.11.17, while on leave in Scotland. Looking for any data beyond the Medal Roll card. Thanks
