Nassauisches Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 87) belonged was engaged in 'Kämpfe an der Aisne' (Fighting on the Aisne), west of Craonne. AndrewThornton Posted 20 February , 2003 Author Share Posted 20 February , 2003 Thank you Jan The reason why I asked is that I have recently purchased a photo of a group of soldiers from the 8th Kompagnie of this regiment and it had a postmark on it for 27th May 1916.
