Is there a book by WW I German General Max Hoffman online? I think I spoted one and it deals with the Battle of Tannenberg.

Bear in mind that Max Hoffman's book offers a heavilly distorted view on the events. His narrative is especially biased against the Austro-Hungarians.

Should be a standard warning label on almost all German generals' post war accounts. :)

As one German writer put it about a particular general "He hasn't written any memoirs yet, but he has a lot to hide so I expect him to do so soon."
