stu Posted 13 April , 2004 Share Posted 13 April , 2004 I have an old book detailing the exploits of the 7th A+SH during the war,it covers all their engagements, although some are quite brief. There is many photos(some are rather poor quality though),there is over 120 of officers, and many of senior NCOs and many more of general interest, most of which I'm sure are unpublished except in this book. There is a list of all officers who served with the battalion, and there is also a complete roll of honour for officers and ORs,although it does only give the year of death. Any look ups required please ask. Stu.
stiletto_33853 Posted 19 April , 2004 Share Posted 19 April , 2004 Stu, Wonder if you can help me here with a local man in the 7th A&S a Christopher Pullen Brand of D Company. The report i have is that on the 23-3-18 the fighting was very confused and that the battalion left their wounded allowing them to be taken prisoner. Brand was wounded and taken prisoner dying in captivity, any help you can give me on this would be of great help. Many thanks Andy
