ShirlD Posted 25 June , 2009 Share Posted 25 June , 2009 One of the most important aspects for me of this Forum is that we can research family members, especially those who have been quietly "forgotten" for whatever reason, and can remember and honour them for living their life as best they could. Leonard is fortunate to have you for a grand nephew, and we remember him today, thank you for giving us his story. Cheers Shirley

Hillyer Posted 25 June , 2009 Share Posted 25 June , 2009 In his note, with his head bursting with pain, he still thought of his mother and his family - and that would be you. He must have been filled with so much love, in spite of everything. He knew he'd cause trouble and hurt, but the pain and probably depression was too much. He'd want you to remember him, for sure, but to really keep the faith with him do it with love and not sadness... that love's more important than anything that could have happened to him. Take care, Hazel
