welshdoc Posted 17 June , 2009 Share Posted 17 June , 2009 I was wondering if as they come in could the new comms be placed on a pinned single list ?
Terry Denham Posted 17 June , 2009 Author Share Posted 17 June , 2009 All IFCP cases can be seen as a permanent list on the IFCP website The list will become far too big to appear as a pinned list here.

Chris Posted 27 July , 2009 Share Posted 27 July , 2009 As a point of interest regarding Thomas Cooper, what happens to the entry under his other name Alfred Ashcroft (see below). http://www.cwgc.org/search/casualty_detail...casualty=738972 It was only when looking through ancestry that i came across the image below and wondered if i had found a non commerorated soldier that i had a look and found that he is recorded under both his names. Just wondered what the procedure was when a soldier was found and had previously been recorded with an alias. Chris
Terry Denham Posted 27 July , 2009 Author Share Posted 27 July , 2009 The ALIAS entry is due to be added to that record.

Terry Denham Posted 27 July , 2009 Author Share Posted 27 July , 2009 Well spotted, Chris. This is just one of the problems to be faced. Alias names are often known but sometimes they just slip the net. We have dozens of such aliases waiting to be added.
