rpaulberry Posted 7 June , 2009 Share Posted 7 June , 2009 CB = Confined to Barracks i.e. not allowed out for recreational purposes
1690philip Posted 7 June , 2009 Share Posted 7 June , 2009 Yes confined to barracks when your fellow comrades are allowed to leave freely. This was a common disciplinary procurer and is often seen on soldiers records for minor disciplinary issues such as not turning up for a parade. My G Grandfather got 10 days Cb for stealing brass shells....lol Regards, Phil

joseph Posted 8 June , 2009 Share Posted 8 June , 2009 Just to expand on what the guys say about, Confined to Barracks During which defaulters will be required to; Answer to their names at uncertain times throughout the day. Be employed on fatigue duties to the fullest practicable extent, with a view to relieving well conducted soldiers. Attend parades and take all duties in regular turn. When fatigue duties required are not sufficient to keep the defaulters fully employed the CO may order them to attend punishment drill. Not to use the Wet Canteen Not just staying in Barracks.
