Good Evening All.

Im researching my fiends Gt Uncle who was in the 8th Bn Leicestershire Regiment and was awarded the M.M. I have a copy of the war diary for that month and it mentions 2 places one called Hamelincourt and Croisilles which are just N/West of Bapaume.I was wondering if anyone has a copy of a trench map for that area for the period of April 1917 which may show up trench names like

Humber Trench, Lump Lane,Tunnel Trench, Lincoln Trench, Pear Lane, Currant Lane and Burg Trench. It mentions Private G Dyer and another chap called Corporal J.W.Briggs being awarded the M.M. but doesnt say how or what they had done to be awarded these medals, thats my next task.If anyone can help I would be greatful.

Best Regards Andy

This is from April 1918, taken from the Linesman package, it shows some of the trenches you are looking for Andy
