mts Posted 16 May , 2009 Share Posted 16 May , 2009 Hi all can someone check this possible non-commemoration out for me to see if I have missed him. I found him while looking for his brother for the Fromelles project. His name is Frederick James M Fincher He died 24/10/1918 after being discharged physically unfit from a gunshot wound to his neck. he is not on Cwgc or SDGC ( that I can see ) only on the BMD I wondered why? He served in Ox & Bucks LI 1/1 81st Battalion TF no 2303 Lance corporal He has a MIC and a small Pension record on Ancestry Mel

kinnethmont Posted 17 May , 2009 Share Posted 17 May , 2009 He would certainly qualify as a Non Comm if the Death Certificate gives causes linked to the injury detailed above.
