Guest GEOFFC Posted 15 February , 2003 Share Posted 15 February , 2003 I am trying to help a friend of mine who is researching his close relative who served in the Accrington Pals from early 1917 until his discharge, with a severe abdominal wound, in March 1919. He was Pte. Harry Wilcox (33422) and he is mentioned in the list of serving soldiers on page 236 of the book 'Pals' by William Turner. Does anyone have access to either the official history or war diary for the 11th. Battalion and can tell me what they were doing and where they were located in August/September 1918. Thanks
