At Home Dad Posted 13 May , 2009 Share Posted 13 May , 2009 Hallo all I have been transcribing the War Diary for the 13th Battalion Essex Regiment and am happy to make it available to all online. It is an ongoing work, still being proof read. It contains links back to deeper information available on the West Ham Pals site. Currently available: 1915 and 1916. 1917 will be available shortly, via Grandson Michael. It's not as beautiful as some of the War Diary sites I have seen, but it's a start, and I hope that it may be of some help to anyone with an interest in 6th Brigade 2nd Division. (2nd South Staffs, 1st Kings, 17th Middlesex) From date of entry to France & Flanders in November 1915 until September 1916, Lieut-Col Papillon ensured that the names of all wounded and killed of the Battalion were entered in the War Diary. Many thanks for your interest and also for any comments or suggestions http://13thessexhammers.blogspot.com/
