Hello everyone – this is my first post, hopefully the first of many. We’re travelling over to Northern France at the start of May, and will be definitely be visiting the following – the Arras Memorial; Le Touret Memorial; the Guards Cemetery, Windy Corner, Cuinchy; St Mary’s Cemetery in Haisnes; Dud Corner; Petit Vimy; Monchy British Cemetery and Ors Communal Cemetery.

If anyone would like a photo taken at any of the above, please let me know and I'll try to help.

Hi MagicRat

Should you have time in the Guards Cemetery, Cuinchy would you be kind enough to take snaps of these headstones:

2Lt Phillip Lloyd Elliott, Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry, Plot IV, Row G, Grave

With very many thanks

Hi Magic rat,

I am interested in the men listed on the Le Touret Memorial on Panel 5-the men of the 4th Battalion Kings Own Royal lancaster Regiment.

Any photographs you could manage of this panel would be gratefully recieved particularly Lt. G.B. Bigland,

Lt. G.H. Walker, Ptes. D.G. Craig,J.E. Brockbank,J.Cubitt, J. Hoggarth,J.Swindlehurst and Cpl. N.H Taylor.

It might be easier to take one big picture!

Cheers,

Anthony :D

Hi Magicrat,

Are you going anywhere near the Vimy Memorial? If so could you please try to get a pic of the memorial for

Private WALTER NESFIELD STONE

I would be very grateful if you could get this as its for my girlfriend, its her great uncle. Many thanks for any help with this.

Hi Magic Rat,

Just out of interest should you go to Rosieres near Amiens, I`d really like a picture of the main entrance to the Communal Extension Cemetery. Like the one below, if your not planning to go there, then sorry to have bothered you.

Kind regards,

Gordon.
