museumtom Posted 3 April , 2004 Share Posted 3 April , 2004 I just seen ww1 in colour on RTE tonight it really is brilliant. I really wonder how they did it, the colour looked so natural. Any ideas? Tom
Jonathan Saunders Posted 3 April , 2004 Share Posted 3 April , 2004 I dont know how they did it other than very sympathetically, but I remember when this series was first shown, reading in the newspaper that the coluring had taken place in India off all places! Desmond7 Posted 3 April , 2004 Share Posted 3 April , 2004 I'll say this about it - in the Western front segments, it brought home how green the spaces were in no-man's land, barring the salient and winters etc. I liked the series very much although it had some critics. I reckon technology used in a meaningful way like this is great for history fans.
