Roger H Posted 16 March , 2009 Share Posted 16 March , 2009 I am trying to find Bois De La Maison Blanche near Arras. I think I have tracked it down to south of the D919 (on the road from Arras to Bailleul-Sir- Berthoult) near a German Cemetery and a railway line. Excuse the pun, but am I on the right track? If anyone has more detail it would be appreciated.

Guest Posted 10 October , 2010 Share Posted 10 October , 2010 In March 1916, the 6th Black Watch were in the " La Maison Blanche " area. ( The Labyrinth ) Is this the same Maison Blanche? And Are these coordinates anywhere close to the area, 50°19'13.06"N 2°49'2.58"E ? Cheers Mike

JimSmithson Posted 11 October , 2010 Share Posted 11 October , 2010 Clearly a lot of White Houses in those days Mike. The Maison Blanche that the wood was named after used to be on the main road just after the junction down to Roclincourt, before you get to Bailleul Road East.
