Dear all,

In Heybridge (near Maldon) Cemetery there is a CWGC headstone to F.C. Tyte. Motor Mechanic RNVR RMB/2586 HM Costal Motor Boat 52 - died 3/12/18.

He does not appear on any of the local memorials.

Not far from Heybridge is Osea Island which became HMS Osea in 1918 for CMBs.

Does anyone know MM Tyte's story - was CMB 52 at Osea and how did he die?

Thanks all.
