Michael Posted 27 March , 2004 Author Share Posted 27 March , 2004 I planned to visit the memorial the following morning with my Dad but we saw it lit up on the way back from the Last Post and spent about 1/2 hour contemplating the image in the cold, still night. It was very emotional. I took the phots with my average digital camera on auto setting with no zoom. I had the flash turned off. Nice meeting you too Jacky. I was surprised at the large turnout for the ceremony. There were a lot of school kids there. We encountered many of them at Tyne Cot, Hill 60, Pop, etc and whenever they passed us their conversation was usually of WW1 content. Again, I was most impressed (and surprised). Glad you enjoyed the pics as much as I do. Michael
