During the process of researching my Grandfathers history, i found out alot of info about a relatively unknown member of my family who was killed on 1st July 1916 aged 21. Service number 1914 Frederick Henry Bailey, 24th Field Ambulance, Royal Army Medical Corps (territorial force). Enlisted Exeter, Devon. Residence Exmouth, Devon. Killed in action 1st July 1916, buried Ribemont Communal Cemetery, Somme, France. Grave IV.E.8.

Are there any members who have a good knowledge of the movements of 24 Field Ambulance, they may have been part of 8th Division.

David
