IN researching Lieutenant Charles Patrick Kelly (RAMC)I neither found an army registration number on his MIC nor on the Commonwealth War Graves record!!

Is it possible at all that someone didnt get a service number????

He should have an Officer Service File at Kew in the WO339 series. There are seven hits on KELLY C,but two of them have two initials CM and CG. I have seen only one initial used on the file cover and more inside so he could be one of the five remaining files. They are numbered WO339/55772 ; 63950 ; 80985 ; 106477 and 136003.

They will have to be read at Kew to find which one is for you.
