Mark Hone Posted 14 February , 2009 Share Posted 14 February , 2009 I have just returned from my leading my fourth sixth-form History visit to Ireland. For the first time we spent a day of the trip in Northern Ireland and, as well as an open-top bus tour of a very cold and foggy Belfast (" Youse all must be ravin' mad" said the security man at Stormont) we visited the Somme Heritage Centre. We received a warm Ulster welcome and a fantastic guided tour by Noel and Matthew. The boys were extremely impressed. A big thank you to all the staff at the centre and I would thoroughly recommend a visit to this outstanding museum.
Brian Curragh Posted 14 February , 2009 Share Posted 14 February , 2009 It is an excellent museum - if required, more details can be found on their website here Brian
