delboy Posted 13 February , 2009 Share Posted 13 February , 2009 Colleagues I will be purchasing a shoulder title for the above unit (last of the big spends this year), can anyone shed some light on the following: Why was the shoulder title different from other titles worn? Where did this battalion serve before being disbanded in february 1918? Regards Delboy
Stephen Nulty Posted 13 February , 2009 Share Posted 13 February , 2009 Raised at Alford in March 1915, they first went overseas to France on 30th January 1916 where they remained until disbandment on 16th February 1918. They were basically all over the place in their time overseas - did you have a specific date in mind?
