westkent78 Posted 28 January , 2009 Share Posted 28 January , 2009 The Regimental Association has digitized or transcribed war diaries for the following battalions: Queen's Royal West Surrey: 1st 2nd 2/4th 3/4th 1/5th 1/6th 7th 8th 10th 11th QRWS-affiliated London Regts: 2/22nd East Surrey Regt: 1st 2nd 3rd 1/5th 7th 8th 9th 12th 13th East Surrey-affiliated London Regts: 1/21st 2/21st 1/23rd 2/23rd It looks like the Association may be working on 1/24th London and hopefully they will post 1/22nd and 2/24th in the future. Guest michaeltulley Posted 9 December , 2009 Share Posted 9 December , 2009 I have had a look at the diaries particularly concerning Queen's Royal West Surrey 1/6th. 8th March 1916 is when my Grandfather was wounded, in the margin it says Appendix I, but I can't find that Appendix.
