The Regimental Association has digitized or transcribed war diaries for the following battalions:

It looks like the Association may be working on 1/24th London and hopefully they will post 1/22nd and 2/24th in the future.

I think they're only uploading the diaries they have copies of in their holdings- hopefully they have the missing ones and will put them up in the coming months.

Thank you, it is a great resource.

Reading some of the entries for the 1st battalion, the brevity is somewhat sobering "A quiet day, one man killed & 3 men wounded."

Just finished the entire diary for 1st Queens excellent resource though very sad in many parts.one or two slightly comical moments, namely bicycle collisions alongside canals.

I have had a look at the diaries particularly concerning Queen's Royal West Surrey 1/6th. 8th March 1916 is when my Grandfather was wounded, in the margin it says Appendix I, but I can't find that Appendix. Any ideas? It may give a clue as to what happened to him after he was wounded.
