sotonmate Posted 27 January , 2009 Share Posted 27 January , 2009 You could find out for yourself by searching on WO372 at the National Archives website and entering the number and the unit and see if a card comes up. But you might have his name already. From that you could then trace the original Medal Rolls (WO329) at Kew and one of them might show his unit,from which you could then find the war Diary for that unit and read about it.
