mmm45 Posted 16 January , 2009 Share Posted 16 January , 2009 Hi Ive been working on a mystery soldier on my war memorial back home and have found him .He isnt on CWGC as he was discharged but the evidence i think i have should give him CWGC Status. Ive had great help here of pals doing the same work just interested in any comments. His Pension/SR survived but only one page which i attach partly. His Death Cert dated 2nd May 1917 states Pte............6th KOYLI (coal hewer) Cause of death (1) Chronic Pul.Tub Which i take is short for Chronic Pulmonary Tuberculosis. As you can see on the attachment he was discharged due to TB contracted in France date unknown. He died about 7 months after discharge in a TB hospital.
