According to Wikipedia Bill Stone passed away on Saturday.

I've not seen anything in the paper or on the forum

Very sad if it is true

Very sad news indeed - it's just under two months since Bill, Harry Patch and Henry Allingham were together at the Cenotaph. Picture from the BBC website

RIP Bill

they shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn

At the going down of the sun, and in the morning

We will remember them.

Rest in peace bill, you will not be forgotten.
