Max Posted 15 March , 2004 Share Posted 15 March , 2004 Hello Everyone I am visiting the Loos battlefield in May to have a mooch around and visit, if possible, the Hohenzollern Redoubt and the memorial to the missing. My GGrandfather Sam (see footer) was KiA in front of the Redoubt on 1/10/1915 and he is remembered on the Loos Memorial. I thought it would be nice to locate a grave of of an unidentified soldier of the KOYLI and lay some flowers. However, I am having some difficulty in locating said grave and was hoping that a Pal could give me a pointer. Also, does anyone know if there is legitimate access to the Hohenzollern Redoubt? Tim Godden Posted 18 March , 2004 Share Posted 18 March , 2004 As far as the grave goes www.cwgc.org will tell you which cemetery it is in and how to get there. As far as access to the Hohenzollern Redoubt I am afraid I could not say. My G-g-Uncle is also on the Dud Corner Memorial, when you go in there spare a thought for Tom Wilson. All the best, Tim
