Hi All

I have this man http://www.cwgc.org/search/casualty_detail...asualty=2000247

Found nothing for him on SDGW, trying to find out if he has a connection to Liverpool?

I am looking for a D. Maddox and he is the only listing on CWGC.

Any ideas where else i could try to find info on him please?

cheers

Ant

Thank you azureus

My man came from St Anthony.s parish in Liverpool. So it is him.

Ancestry is having problems with SDGW. Aldershot was not THAT violent a spot!

Using the surname Maddocks, all of the above info is correct, except that he was killed in action in France & Flanders.

Matching the number, etc., and using the surname maddox, rather than Maddocks, CWGC shows his name commemmorated on the Menin Gate. He thus has no known grave.

Hope this helps

Bruce
