Bradford WW1 Group Posted 17 December , 2008 Share Posted 17 December , 2008 I am researching Harriet's war record and find she was at Abbeville when 9 of her comrades were killed by enemy bombing. Harriet helped clear the scene afterwards. She was awarded the MBE. Would this be for her efforts that day?

Many thanks for this - especially her service dates which I had not known. Her daughter will be pleased to have more pieces in the jigsaw.
