Pte Alfred Ernest BROMAGE 1653 Royal Army Medical Corps Died 31.10.16 Age 20 Buried: Burghill (St Mary) Churchyard, Herefordshire, UK Capt William Ernest ROGERSON 12th Bn, Durham Light Infantry Died 13.11.14 Age 42 Buried: Darlington West Cemetery, Durham, UK NOT FORGOTTEN Capt ROGERSON was put forward on 11.06.08 on behalf of member, Chris Harley, and he will be able to tell the story. His address is shown as Neasham Abbey, Darlington He was born in Q4 1872 in Co Durham at Croxdale Hall His father John Rogerson was a coal & iron merchant - mother was Sarah Ann Rogerson He had a brother & 3 sisters. By the 1891 census he is shown as a Cambridge undergraduate whilst his father is shown as a civil engineer 1901 census he is a visitor at the house of George F Boyd, Moor House Leamside - a solicitor & deputy lord lt, JP.
