Matt Dixon Posted 2 December , 2008 Share Posted 2 December , 2008 I am looking at a chap called Captain J C Forsyth, who died aged 58 on the 8th September 1918, whilst serving at the Canadian general hospital near Milford Haven in South Wales, and he is buried in Milford Haven cemetery. He was a doctor in the Canadian Medical Corps. Does anyone know what he may have died from? Was there an outbreak of disease (ie flu?) at that time? Any information gratefully received. jay dubaya Posted 7 December , 2008 Share Posted 7 December , 2008 Hi Matt, I took this pic of his headstone only last week. I wasn't even aware that there was a CGH in the area so I'll be intereseted to find some details of the place. Milford is only a couple of miles down the road and I'm due a day in the archives so i'll see if I can dig anything out for you, cheers, Jon
