Garde Grenadier Posted 16 March , 2004 Share Posted 16 March , 2004 Is there any source for information about the location and other details for the cemeteries cleared as part of the concentration process. As there are so many knowledgeable people around in this forum: I've been looking for the location of the former German Military Cemetery at Liesse-Notre-Dame in Northern France, which was cleared 1919/1920 during the concentration process. Even looking through the town and its surroundings I could not manage to find any trace. Is there a way to find out where this particular cemetery might have been? My great-uncle Theodor Hörnemann was buried there before being reburied at Sissonne German Military Cemetery. I'm also puzzled by the numbering system of German first-aid-posts (Feldlazarett) and can't find a map or documents of the time showing where they were. Thanks for any help or information regards Daniel
