ADNIL Posted 16 November , 2008 Share Posted 16 November , 2008 Hi, I'm a new member – and would greatly appreciate if you could help identify the Regiment by the cap badge ?, or the soldiers in the attached photo. If anyone recognises someone...please let me know. I think it may be possible that my grandfather JOHN THOMAS PASK "Jack" (far left, middle row, nearest the door column), enlisted in Newark, Notts in WW1..in the RAOC ?? … which may have been part of the Transport Division....(although not exactly sure)..?? Could the photo be taken outside on the steps of the Town Hall, Newark ?? Thank you – much appreciated for any help…!! ADNIL

ADNIL In my view very clearly Army Service Corps (ASC) who provided the Transport Columns and they are wearing waist belts of 1903 bandolier pattern which is very common for mounted troops like ASC.
