high wood Posted 14 November , 2008 Share Posted 14 November , 2008 I am trying to discover if Pte Bertie Bland of the Machine Gun Corps previously served with the Middlesex Regiment. I have pictures of a soldier in both uniforms. It appears to be the same man but I would like to be sure. Could somebody please check Ancestry to see if his service papers have survived? Thank you. I am hoping that the service papers have survived and will reveal a Middlesex Regiment connection. Here are the two photographs. I am convinced that they are the same man. Simon.
