Bombadier M.R.J. Beel MM (147701)

My grandfather (Bombadier M.R.J. Beel, Wimbledon, London) ) won his MM in actions in Feb-March 1918 with the 242nd Siege Battery (12th Brigade). I am trying to establish his service history.

I can't seem to locate anything but his medal cards - He had two, as they spelt his surname wrong on both the London Gazette and card entries (Bell instead of Beel). The medal card is below.

Can anyone suggest how I might progress my research - where should I go and what should I ask for?
