Hi Am looking for any information on Pt daniel Martin from coleraine Co Antrim northern ireland

I vaugely remember him well after the ww1 - still about in 1956 and am led to believe he won a galantry medal - He was my mothers uncle ( brother of her father william Martin better known in coleraine as Billy Martin - Please advise any relevent info

Hello and welcome to the forum

I'm making an assumption that Danny served with the rifles.

If that was the case then I think he was with 12th Battalion and this is his Medal Index Card.

Do you know if he was from Aird? If so he is recorded as being twice wounded - the medal or award could be a silver war badge.
