Remembering today Able Seaman John James Seal of Wells. He served in the Anson Bttn, RNVR and died on this day in 1917, aged 22. The battalion was involved in the battle to take Varlet Farm from the Germans on the day he died.

Rest in Peace

I have a BWM & Victory to this young man. Do you have a family connection?

Hi Ali

I don't have any family connections with John Seal. His name is on the War Memorial in Wells, which I am researching. How did you come by the medals?
