Hi Guys,

I'm not at home and therefore have not got access to Ancestry.

Can someone PLEASE give me the GRO death reference for this chap (presumably FOLKESTONE Kent )-

JAMES W

Lance Corporal William JAMES. Cyclist Corps. Formerly Leinster Regiment. Died 21 August 1916 at Folkestone. Discharged from the Army having been severely gassed at the front. Died in the Royal Victoria Hospital, Folkestone, Kent. Buried 24 August 1916. His baby daughter died a year afterwards aged only 9 months! Buried St James Cemetery, Dover, Kent.

He's one of my non-coms. It looks a pretty good bet for an approval. I will be submitting him soon. I shall keep this page updated...

Many thanks

Neil

Sorry Niel

Had a quick look and we are unable to find his death recorded but we think this is his daughter and perhaps a son.
