Does anyone have the battalion diary for the 1st Battalion Scots Guards for December 1914/January 1915?

I am interested in a soldier from Freuchie in Fife, Private Peter Dryburgh Inglis, 9316, who was killed/died on 3 January 1915. He is commemorated at La Touret.

Could anyone advise where the 1st Battalion was at the time and what action they were in.

Thanks

Taken from the history by Ewart and Lowther "On the 1st January, 1915 The 1st Battalion was assembled at Cuinchy Church, south of La Bassee Canal, at 11.30pm for an attack....The objective of the attack was a position into which the enemy had pushed forward on the embankment of the railway immediately south of the canal..."

With the loss of Tafski, would any other member have a copy of the Scots Guards diary, require only Jan 1915 pages.

Getting info together on a Charles Gavin, former Liverpool Firefighter died 28/01/1915, for a party of current Ff's visiting garve this July.

Many regards
