I have the medal rolls to a chap who joined the RSF after service with the 1/7th Duham Light Infantry. In the RSF he was given number 54283. A quick check on SDGW revealed no casualties with a 5-digit number starting 54. There were some in 53XXX and 59XXX serving with the 11th Battalion RSF, but that's it. I suspect this was a very late posting, possibly for dispersal purposes, but I wonder if anyone can tell me more? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
