Hi, I am researching 2/Lt FG Smith of the 9th HLI who ws killed in action on 27th August 1918 and is buried in Wancourt British cemetery, does any forum member have a copy of the unit war diary for this period, as I have no idea what the Bn were doing on this and earlier days? Any help appreicated,

Cheers,

Rick

The war diary is available on the RHF website, it also has a copy of Shoulder to Shoulder which is very useful, if you want copies send me a PM and I can e-mail it to you.
